Any advice for new MacBook Pro owner?

i just got my new macbook pro 15inch. this is my first time using a macbook..any tips for mac system beginners? thanx

I’m green with envy…

1. First and foremost, expect to spend a week or two getting the hang of OS X. Just, don’t get frustrated.

2. Use the built-in OS X Help as much as possible.

3. Google for: OS X tutorial for tons more, and see YouTube, too..

4. Try to find a more experienced Mac user to mentor you.

5. On www . apple . com read the FAQs, Forums and Knowledge-base articles.

6. Try to find this book at the library, among others:

Teach yourself Visually: Mac OS X leopard

– Wiley Publishing (ISBN: 978-0-470-10167-4)

7. Try to find this book at the nearest book store ($36).

7. Buy it on Amazon for about $22 plus shipping.

8. Post here if you get stumped, sometimes OS X is so easy nobody thinks to explain how. REALLY!

9. Call Apple Tech Support or ask at the nearest Apple Store, if nothing else works.

10. Can’t find a program for OS X , like you used on Windows? Post it here, too.

Bonus TIP: iChat has “Desktop Sharing” built-in, so others can “show you” how to do some real magic.

Under the ‘Help’ menu choose ‘Mac Help’, this will bring up Leopard’s internal help system. Inside that is a header for first-time Mac users called ‘Exploring Mac OS X’. It is a comprehensive guide to learning the Mac, including a sub-section on switching from Windows. It should really help you out, and hopefully will answer 90% of your questions.
