Apple Powerbook G4 15.2″ Laptop, Needs Hard Drive,power Supply Inc 24hr Auction
Apple Macbook Powerbook G4 Please read carefully and do not use the Ebay listing Specs for this Powerbook. I can't find the Serial Number on the Machine. I can only tell you that it is a 15". I took this in on a trade. I was told the Hard Drive was bad. I tried to install the OS X and everything loaded fine until I got to the part where I needed to choose where to Install the OS. Nothing shows up in the box, so the Hard Drive is not being Recognized. My buyer said before he took it to apple, he removed the case not knowing what the problem was. In doing so, he did not replace all of the screws, so there are a few missing and the bottom casing is a bit lose as a result. Cosmetically, I'm gonna say 8/10. I can't rate the Functionality as without an OS working, I have no way of testing anything. I decided not to chose to sell this for parts b/c it does power on and the DVD drive is spinning. BTW, when I hit the eject button, it tries to eject the CD Install disc, but b/c of these missing screws, I can't get it out now. I think this machine just needs some TLC from someone who can replace the hard drive. The screen is Perfect with no dead pixels. Because of the circumstances, I have to sell AS IS and I can make no guarantees on this machine. I have the Power Cord and you will get that with the machine. I am so busy with other things that I don't have time to dig deeper into things. So, again, I don't know the year, or specs other then it's a G4 Powerbook 15", so please bid knowing that and again, do not go by what ebay has listed above. When you sell on ebay, you have to pick from a list of Models and because there are so many G4 15" models listed, I just picked one blindly.
