Hijacked Macbook! Please help?
While searching with Yahoo in either browser (Firefox or Safari) I continue to get redirected to junk sites. The search results show up but when clicked you get sent to one of these incredibly annoying pages. Someone has to have figured out to resolve this issue. If I have to reinstall the OS so be it! Thanks for the help everyone.

Is it a pop up or a hijack?
Hijacks are normally refered to your homepage being changed to something other than what it was, but you can run a freeware software called hijack this. If that doesn’t work run some anti virus/spyware programs.
if you get fed up enough just back up your data and do a restore point or recovery partition because that will take less time and it’s less hassle.
You might want to read this. Not really sure if it’ll help you though, but that would be my best guess.
