How to tone down Apple logo on black MacBook?
There's a lively thread on the Apple.com > Support > Discussions > MacBook > Using your MacBook forum.
Christiaan asked "How to make logo less prominent on black MacBook?"
"Has anyone had a go at making the Apple logo black or charcoal on the black MacBook? I'm thinking about getting the black model because the matte finish looks a little more durable but the garish looking white logo is a put off."
His post provoked 65 replies, varying from practical advice like "Why not cover it up with gaffer tape?!" to philosophical debate on euthanasia, to accusations of blasphemy. As is only to be expected in an Apple forum, there were some fine displays of temperament along the way, with Christiaan giving as good as he got.
By the end of the discussion Christiaan had decided not to buy a black MacBook and cancelled his order.
So there!
