How to fix MacBook Pro case problem?

I found this out a while ago while i was typing. If press the surrounding case, it clikcs for me which gets annoying if Im trying to type something which gets really on my nerve.

  1. First, look on the left and right side of the computer. There should be two TINY screws on each side, one located close to the CD/DVD drive edge and one kind of inbetween some ports close to the edge near the screen. Make sure all of those are there – if they aren’t they need to be replaced.
What these 4 tiny screws do is hold the ENTIRE top casing to the bottom casing. They do this by screwing into 4 thin metal tabs that come out of the bottom of the top part (you can see a seam where the flat top part of the bottom casing meets the sides) and go downwards parallel to the sides. These are easily snapped off – as the Apple geniuses told me. This could also be your problem. Your screw may still be in the hole – but your metal tab could have snapped off.
That is at least what I think this is. It could also be a bigger issue.
I would go to an Apple store if you are under warranty and see what they think.
If you aren’t, try an Apple certified repair shop like Computer DNA in Ohio. They can usually fix your computer at cheaper prices than Apple – and they don’t void your warranty.
Hope this helps – good luck.
