How to fix MacBook optical drive problem?
and plz don't say thats what you get for buying a mac, i am a windows a Linux user so hold it please. so the problem when i try and insert a disk it is difficult to insert it and it wont pull it in like it should. is there anything i can do besides take it in to apple?
Almost sounds like the optical drive is stuck in the loaded position…
When you try to insert a disk does it actually go in, or are you completely prevented? If so try the eject key first to see if that will return it to the unloaded position.
