MacBook pr0n : taking it all off…
...the packaging, that is.
Apple is famous for its packaging - no plain brown boxes or styrene beads for the cool guys in Cupertino! - and opening a new Apple product is an exciting experience.
Over time this unpacking process has evolved into The Great Unboxing Ceremony, a quasi-religious ritual that some MacBook owners have documented in meticulous detail.
These photographs seek to preserve the evanescent excitement of The Unboxing, and capture that happy prelude to the subsequent concerns about that funny noise or whether it's overheating, et al.
These photos also serve to whet the appetites of wannabe MacBook owners. If you are one of the unMacBooked, check out these pix and prepare to salivate.
