How to repair Macbook camera?

i've owned my macbook for a year now and i've always used PhotoBooth and iMovie, but now when i open the application the window, that would usually show my face or whatever was in view of the camera, is all black. the green light is working so i don't know what's wrong. Please help i need to record a video soon!
