Should buy the aluminum MacBook Pro or save money with a white MacBook?

I guess what I really want to know is: is it really worth the extra $$$ to get the new macbook pro instead of the white macbook? To people who have the aluminum macbook: is the glass track pad a huge time saver? Are there any problems with the new macbook pros? Are there any problems with the white macbook? Which has more overall value?
