Should I buy MacBook Pro or iMac & cheap laptop?
I'm going off to college next year and I'm puzzled as to which computer I should get. These are the two options I have come up with:
1) Get an iMac to keep in my dorm, then get a cheap laptop to take to class; or
2) Get a MacBook Pro to bring everywhere.
I'm going to be going into the Computer Sciences, specifically software development, and will eventually be doing lots of programming, plus I'm going be doing some web design. I'm just curious as to what you guys think would be best for my needs.
If you vote option 1, could you please offer what you think would be a good, cheap laptop to bring around to class; and also any good note taking software you know of! Thanks for all of your answers!
PS - I'm not going to change my mind, I AM getting a Mac, so please don't post an answer if you're just going to bash Macs, thank you.
Well, my option you can buy Macbook Pro or Air. Well, since you going into Computer Science , does it matter if we use laptop or desktop, doesn’t it?
And 1 more thing you should know, if you want option 1, you should buy ASUS G50vt x1 or x5
it’s cheap, and you can bring it everywhere.
