Should I buy a white MacBook or a MacBook Pro 13?

ok guys im having problems with choosing a laptop for college. im deciding on getting either a macbook white or macbook pro both 13 inch. i do not play video games or anything on it so thats not an issue but i was thinking about doing film in college. Editing videos etc. so what route do you guys think i should choose? And which one would last me longer?
