Which 13 inch macbook pro should I get?
I've been planning on getting a new macbook for a little while now and now that they've upgraded them I'm planning on getting one. But I don't know which one to get: the 2.26 GHz model or the 2.53 GHz one? Is there really that big of a difference, what do you recommend?

If you can afford the extra $300 then definitely get the top of the range one.
You get a faster processor (not such a big deal) but you get double the RAM (4GB as opposed to 2GB) and nearly double the hard disc size ( 250GB vs 160GB).
some time u have to take risk choose wut u want
YES!!!
Your paying $300 more for allot more speed and double the memory.
Apple sets their computers up in line, whatever you can afford.
You wouldn't see much difference between 0.3GHz of processor speed. Get the cheaper one unless you are doing heavy video processing or lots of work. It's mainly the RAM that you can see a difference in for performance and speed usually. I hope this helps a bit. Go MACS!!!
If you have the money get the 2.53GHz.
If you are short on money get the one with lower speed.
So there's two models of the 13 inch MacBook pro – The 2.26GHz and the 2.53GHz.
The differences are:
2.26: / 2.53:
2GBmem / 4GBmem
160GB hd / 250GB hd
$1399 / $1749
What I find best, is to get the 2.26Ghz model, upgrade the 2GB memory to 4GB, and the 160GB Hard Drive to 320GB or 500GB You'll find that the price is at relatively the same as the 2.53Ghz model. The only difference? Your upgraded model now has a bigger hard drive than the 2.53.
The Ghz is just about how fast the laptop can run. There is not a very big difference in the 2.26 to a 2.53. With a memory of 4GB, it's already fast enough.
So get the 2.26Ghz, and upgrade. And it's just as costly as the 2.53, and offers the same amount (if not, arguably better (with the bigger hard drive)).
Edit: Sorry, these are the Canadian prices. But check out the US store and it'll have the appropriate prices.
